As a Fashion Expert & Stylist, Actress, On-Camera Host, and former MTV Producer, Grasie Mercedes is a multi-talented woman, who proves you can truly do it all.
She graduated with honors from New York University with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. Two weeks after graduation she landed a job working with ABC News in NY, then moved on to MTV News where her career as a producer began. After about 3 years of full-time producing she moved from her hometown of NYC to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an Actress & Host.
Within weeks of her arrival in LA, Grasie was signed to a commercial agent and quickly landed a handful of national commercials for clients McDonalds, Chevy, Chili’s, Mazda and Axe Body Spray where she had the privilege of shooting with celebrities Ben Affleck (for the European market) and Nick Lachey (for the US market). She has also appeared on soaps All My Children and Guiding Light and TV shows NCIS, Criminal Minds and Southland to name a few. You can find her other acting credits here.
In the hosting world, Grasie hosted E! News Now, the online clip show for E! News, co-hosted a music show pilot called Music On Demand and has worked for various online outlets such as MAXIM.com, UGO Networks and SeenOn.com conducting celebrity interviews and hosting for Red Carpet events. She was on the first season of The Style Network’s Style Star as an On-Camera Fashion Expert and is currently shooting her very own web series entitled No Shopping Necessary and a series of original style shows for LookTV.
Grasie’s Fashion career began in 2007, when her friend Matthew Ellenberger, former Director of Concept & Design at American Eagle 
Outfitters, asked her to assist him in styling their Holiday Campaign shoot. That’s when the Fashion bug bit! She freelanced with American Eagle & Aerie as their campaign Stylist & Wardrobe Associate for 3 years. She’s also taken on her own personal clients including TV Host Damien Fahey, Actors Josh Pais & Angela Trimbur, Internet Wiz Laura Roeder, Entrepreneur Marie Forleo and many others.
Today Grasie continues to be a full-time Actress & Host, while maintaining a super active Fashion career in styling, blogging and ad campaigns. She currently resides in Hollywood, CA.
