As an actress and SAG member, the SAG Awards are always very exciting. Members vote for the winners and every time someone I voted for wins, I like to think that it was my vote that made the difference. (Delusional? Yes, I know) And then there’s the red carpet magic, of course. My Best Dressed picks of the night go to Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture and Jayma Mays in Reem Acra. A close second were the bright hues of Emily Blunt and Michelle Williams in Oscar de la Renta and Valentino respectively.
Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer both took home awards and looked absolutely stunning!

Young starlet Shailene Woodley went for it with the orange flowers and I can’t tell if I love it or hate it. Thoughts? While, Sofia Vergara shines in hot pink and pretty much anything you put her in!
I almost never like what Tilda Swinton is wearing but I think she nailed it this evening. Simple, classic & chic. All and all lots of good looks tonight, with the exception of one major faux pa from Kristen Wiig, chokers are never a good idea. Never. Sorry. Love you. Bye.

On Tuesday night, Damien and I had the privilege of attending Giving Back Never Looked So Good hosted by E!’s Catt Sadler to benefit the Women Like Us Foundation’s Hollywood Chapter (WLUH). Catt’s mom founded the first chapter of Women Like Us and Catt herself started the Hollywood with chapter with her BFF Xochitl Medina. It was a fantastic night full of good times and reconnecting with good friends.

The mission of WLUH is…
To encourage, empower and engage at-risk kids to continue their education by providing enriching activities while also offering them the tools and resources to develop self-confidence enabling them to blossom into their full potential.

And what’s better than that! I’m going to start working with WLUH and I could not be more excited about it. If you’re in LA and want to volunteer…please do! You can find out more here. 

PS – I don’t know what they pump in the water at E! News but Catt Sadler & Jason Kennedy are seriously the nicest people on the planet! The end.

Maybe it’s because I’m absolutely obsessed with Homeland or maybe it’s because I love the chic simplicity of Claire Danes’ J Mendel ensemble, either way, I vote her Best Dressed at tonight’s Golden Globes. A close second goes to Charlize Theron in Dior and Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci. Though, I will say I was a fan of a lot of the gowns this year. I mean, I wouldn’t say no to Emma Stone’s dress if Lanvin wanted to send me one.
