the grammys 2011 fashion round up

I’ve already complained about it on my Tumblr, Facebook and Twitter pages so I won’t get into it here but…The Grammys (like the Oscars, Golden Globes, SAG Awards and VMAs) should air LIVE on BOTH the West and East coasts. Ugh! With that out of the way…we luckily have E! and their red carpet coverage to keep us informed on the fashion side of the night. The Grammys is an event to go for it with fashion; some go for it and succeed, some go for it and fail…and then there are a whole bunch that fall in between. Below you’ll see a little of it all. Lady Gaga, of course, takes the cake for opting to “walk” the red carpet in an incubator. Yup, an egg shaped incubator. Enough said.

    Ugh, I hate to say, but I really wasn’t impressed with tonight’s fashion choices. If I have to pick, my tolerable favorites were Lea Michele, JLo (her legs are amazing!), Leann Rimes and Julianne Hough. xo

    It’s so cool how Adam Levine was able to break away from his Dickensian band of ruffians, throw on a jacket and make it to the show! :)

    I think the only way I’ll be shocked by Lady Gaga’s outfits at this point is if she wears a beautiful gown with simple accessories.
