Ok, so I was not kidding about the crazy busy weekend (see below)! Last night’s festivities were topped off with a lil Foam Weapon League (FWL) action. What the hell is that, you may ask? Well it’s the brainchild of my dear friend Michele Morrow aka Commander Mauler and her two co-creators The White Scorpion and Commander Smash. It’s part WWF, part fantasy role play…all fun. As the tag line goes “Fake Blood, Real Fighting.” Well last night Damien and I checked it out after a bowling birthday party we attended earlier and I must admit I was surprisingly into it. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little frightened at first…(picture a room full of strangers in random “warrior” outfits ready to fight with “blood”-filled water balloons strapped to their bodies) but by the end I had my own fighting stance on!
