I recently joined DavidBartonGym and fell hard for their #lookbetternaked frame of mind. I mean, let’s get real for a moment…no matter how cute you look with clothes on, it’s those moments alone, naked, in front of the mirror, that really make you proud (or bummed out) about your body. I’m not talking about being the skinniest girl around, I’m talking about being healthy. I for one, have been immensely blessed with “thin genes,” which is a blessing and a curse. It’s a blessing because yes, I stay thin with relatively no effort on my part (I know, I’m a f’ing bitch). BUT I’m also ridiculously out of shape, and the older I get, the more that’s becoming a problem. So, with the help of DavidBartonGym, Runyon hikes, dog park strolls and way healthier eating, I’m nipping that in the bud! I even gave up meat for Lent! (after one last trip to In N Out on Ash Wednesday – I’m a terrible Catholic) Here’s to a healthy 2014 and remember, just because it’s March, doesn’t mean it’s too late to make New Year resolutions.
