I put tweed, pearls and a flowy midi skirt all in one look, so I had to call it “ladylike.” Sometimes, (most of the time) I try to incorporate at least one “edgy” or “masculine” item into my ensembles to avoid looking “too girly.” But lately, I’ve been trying to embrace my feminine side. I can sometimes equate “girly” with “weak” and that’s just some silly BS. Femininity is empowering…period. So, while I won’t be giving up my moto jackets or converse anytime soon, I will be playing around with more ladylike looks.
