met ball: go big or go home!

Last night was the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Annual Costume Institute Ball (Met Ball) in NYC. The Met Ball is the one night of the year where celebrity starlets can really take risks with their ensembles…its basically a designer costume party. The who’s who of Hollywood and fashion are all in attendance and the only real purpose of the night is to show off your fabulous digs…Dress like a princess, dress like a call girl but whatever you do Go Big Or Go Home!     Grasie! So many amazing gowns! I gotta say my faves were Sienna Miller, Jen Lopez, Blake Lively, Gisele, Oprah and Kerry Washington! I hated Kristen Stewart, January Jones and Rosario (who is usually perfect!)…such an amazing night of fashion! I was looking forward to your reviews!

    Dammit, I forgot this isn’t an interactive touch screen! I’ve been trying to drag Chloe Sevigny down to the Unfortunate section. At least create a special Sassy Fail category for her. Or Unfortunate Risk Taker. She looks like she was dipped in car paint up to her chin. C’mon.

      hahaha! Belgray you kill me! I had a really hard time with categorizing this blog…Chloe dress is def “different” and NOT for everyone but there’s something about it that i like on her…crazy but true. Love your comment though…keep em coming!

    OK can I just say that Eva Mendes, who you don’t have up, looked like she was wearing her grandmothers comforter!!!! Blake Lively is def looking smokin’ in that blue dress! She looks so amazing and I love how she didn’t go crazy with accessories! Jessica Szor (sp?) another Gossip Girl hottie looks gorgeous as well! I love her dress!!!!

      haha! Eva was on the fence for me. Thats why I left her out. Her just was a bit much but I respect her for embracing her Latina side…she looked like a Hollywood Chiquita Banana! lol
