my true match
A great foundation can be expensive and hard to find, so the prospect of discovering my perfect shade online, then grabbing it at my local pharmacy sounded fantastic!
There comes a time in a woman’s life when she has to wear makeup. I have reached that moment. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about a crazy, cake face. I just mean a natural-looking face, that looks like you have no make-up on, when in fact, you absolutely do! I have my go-to cosmetics to achieve this look, but was happy to take the L’Oreal Paris True Match online diagnostic and try something new. A great foundation can be expensive and hard to find, so the prospect of discovering my perfect shade online, then grabbing it at my local pharmacy sounded fantastic! After answering 5 easy questions about my hair and eye color and skin tone, my perfect match was revealed to be CARAMEL BEIGE.
When creating a natural look I start with foundation, this time using L’Oreal Paris True Match in Caramel Beige. I dab it on my face with my fingers and blend with a slightly damp beauty blender sponge. I use M.A.C. concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes.
I add blush to the apples of my cheeks using NARS blush in Desire (cotton candy pink).
Then, I line my eyes with M.A.C. Fluidline in Blacktrack using a small, angled liner brush. Correcting any mistakes with a Q-tip.
I curl my eyelashes with a Shisheido eyelash curler then apply a coat of Benefit Cosmetics “They’re Real!” mascara.
Lastly, I use Stila Stay All Day liquid lipstick in Patina on my lips.
And there you have it…my steps for a natural-looking, face of makeup starting with L’Oreal Paris True Match. Find your True Match here. My final look below!
