When the lovely ladies at Express invited me & a guest to join them (and some of my favorite blogger buds) for a Bruno Mars concert, I happily accepted. I’ve always thought he was good, but after this weekend’s show, I HEART BRUNO MARS like a “fat kid loves cake!” (I probably just aged myself with that reference.) First off, something epic happened…I brought my BFF Natalie and while the group we were with went inside to take their seats, we stayed behind to purchase concert tees. You know I love me a good concert tee and this one of a young Bruno Mars as Elvis was too adorable to pass up! After paying for our new merch, we stopped to get beers and as we walked away from the bar, two “men in black” asked us where we were sitting and if we wanted FRONT ROW TICKETS!!! Umm, yes please! At first, I thought it was a hoax. The New Yorker in me demanded to see credentials and asked a lot of questions. But alas, it was true, “Floor 3, Row 1, Seats 10 & 11!” The concert was INCREDIBLE! Bruno Mars is quite the showman and his band was right there with him the whole way through. They were dancing up a storm, flirting with the audience and singing while playing instruments (crazy, I know!). Natalie and I had a blast and things got even better when Bruno and his “hooligans” serenaded us and the two lovely ladies seated next to us. That’s when I got the most epic photo of all (see Bruno and the band posing for me in last pic). If the “Moonshine Jungle” tour is coming through your town…get tickets now. Seriously, one of the best shows I’ve ever seen…too much fun!Bruno Mars concert tee // Express faux leather skirt $60, cross body bag $35 & necklace $40 c/o // Forever 21 booties // Ray-Ban sunnies $150
Like I said…EPIC. A huge THANK YOU to Express for having us and to Ryan (the Hawaiian) for the front row hookup!
