Sometimes I compare my outfits to that of my 14-year-old sister’s and you know what? They ain’t that different!
The other day, I had a meeting where I had to dress like an adult. This is what I came up with. Let me explain…sometimes I compare my outfits to that of my 14-year-old sister’s and you know what? They ain’t that different! I think it’s because I love fun prints, jeans and short dresses, which is what your average teen wears these days. Every once in a while, I need to look bit more sophisticated. Sometimes, it’s for an audition and sometimes it’s for a “grown up,” corporate meeting of sorts. When these occasions arise, I still stick to my fun prints and colors but instead of pairing them with jeans or a short skirt, I go for sleek trousers. If I had a 9 to 5, I would wear some version of this look every day. Give or take a blazer, cardigan or pull-over and voila! I’m a grown up!
