Some time within a week or so of Thanksgiving, I get my shopping on for Christmas. I love buying gifts for my family and friends; I look forward to it every year. Damien and I tag team the task and usually get it done in 1-2 sessions. We don’t mess around! It’s such a fun bonding experience and this way we both have a say in our gift giving choices. Some tips for holiday shopping? 1. Dress comfortable! Wear flats and layers. 2. If traveling for the holidays, wrap all your gifts and ship those babies to their final destination. Traveling with gifts is the worst, plus with all the airline fees these days, you can save money by shipping. 3. Gift cards are your friends. I know, they’re not the most personal gifts but if you’re really having a hard time shopping for a loved one, let them shop for themselves. Personally, I rather get a gift card to Starbucks than a pair of socks I’ll never wear. Word.
