spiked dairy-free holiday nog

If you’re like me, traditional egg nog is a little too thick and “eggy” for your taste. Enter my Spiked Dairy-Free Holiday Nog recipe. It’s simple, delicious and way lighter than traditional nog. Plus it’s perfect for any vegans in your family. For this version, I used Califia Almond Milk Holiday Nog but have also tried Silk Nog in the past and it’s delicious. A great alternative for anyone with nut allergies. And yes, sure, you can make your nog from scratch but who has time for that? Especially when these store-bought versions are so tasty!

For 1 serving


In a festive glass, combine 1 cup of nog with 1 oz. of bourbon and stir. If you like ice (I d0) add a couple of cubes. Then garnish with a sprinkle of ground nutmeg and add a cinnamon stick as a stirrer. That’s it! Yummy holiday nog that’s dairy-free! If you want to make a batch use the same measurements (1 cup nog to 1 oz. bourbon) per serving. Don’t add ice to batch but instead add to individual servings. I make this for my family every Christmas and it’s always a hit.
