    If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know, I LOVE food. So when my blogger bud Taye, invited myself and our mutual friend Amelia to a Summer menu food tasting at Fig & Olive, I was beyond excited. Lucky for me, it was even more delicious than I could have imagined.

    I was also able to sneak in a quick OOTD shoot with Taye; in addition to blogging, she’s a fab photographer. I’m totally in love with these new Warehouse jeans I just got. They are so comfy and a perfect color for Spring. I paired them with this floral top from H&M and kept everything else super simple.

    OK, now on to the food…aka, the best part! We were served 5 delicious courses that started with this Olive Oil tasting and Cucumber Cosmos. Uh huh, yeah.

    Course 1 – A plate of six different Crostinis, all equally delicious.

    Course 2 – Truffle Mushroom Croquette, Tuna Crudo and Fig & Gorgonzola Tartlet. I don’t know about you, but I will happily eat anything with truffle on it. These babies were no exception. Absolutely fantastic. The Tuna Crudo & Tarlet were also both delightful.

    Course 3 – Zucchini Blossom & Goat Cheese Ravioli. Yummy pasta that’s perfect for a light Summer meal. Order it alone or as an app to share with your table.

    Course 4 – Paella Del Mar & Salmon with Grilled Radicchio. I studied in Madrid in college, so I demanded we ordered the Paella. It’s a tough dish to get right outside of Spain, but this paella was incredible and my favorite. If you’re a seafood lover, order this dish. The salmon was cooked to perfection and also fantastic.

    Now you would think after 5 courses, we couldn’t possibly have room for dessert…well, you’re right but we ordered it anyway and finished every last bite.

    Course 5 – Warm Chocolate Soufflé and Créme Brulee Cheese Cake. I mean, need I say more?
