For our dining room, we decided to go with a rock & roll vibe, making our favorite photograph of Stewart Copeland (drummer for The Police) the centerpiece. We hung Damien’s guitar and a vintage American flag then added a fiddle fig tree and a mini bar as accents. Changing out the light fixture made a huge difference in the vibe of the room, but the piece that really brought it all together, was this rug from Urban Outfitters. We weren’t sure we wanted a rug in the dining room but without one, it felt incomplete and was really echo-y. Once we laid down this beauty, the room felt DONE. Can’t wait to have our first dinner party!
