I love most drinks with tequila in them, so when I found out you can turn a Moscow Mule into a Mexican Mule by switching out the vodka for tequila, I was all for it. A yummy cocktail served in a copper cup that’s easy to make and fun for the whole family (the 21 and older portion of your family that is)! Recipe below.
2 oz silver tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
3 oz ginger beer (similar to ginger ale but different here’s why)
copper cup (if you don’t have one, a rocks glass will do but copper cups are pretty awesome)
Fill cup with crushed ice, add tequila, fresh lime juice and top with ginger beer. Stir to mix and garnish with a lime. Enjoy! It’s that easy.
Alternate versions: Sub tequila for vodka for a MOSCOW MULE. Sub tequila for whiskey for an IRISH MULE. Yum!
