oscars 2012

Oscars, Oscars, Oscars! My best dressed picks goes to the cast of The Help. All four ladies look absolutely flawless in unique dresses that are well suited for their personalities and silhouettes. Viola Davis in her bright green Vera Wang is beautiful on her skin and I’m loving her new do! Octavia Spencer looks glamourous and chic in her Tadashi Shoji dress while Jessica Chastain goes regal in McQueen. Emma Stone proves red heads can wear red in Giambattista Valli. Just lovely.
My ladies in white also killed the carpet with their picks. Rooney Mara in her structured Givenchy compliment her style perfectly and Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford is all sorts of right. Shailene Woodley is age appropriate and sweet in Valentino, while Milla Jovovich is classic and sexy in Ellie Saab.
Other starlets that caught my eye were Michelle Williams in  Louis Vuitton and Tina Fey in Carolina Herrera. All and all, there were lots of great looks on the carpet this evening (and some not so great, that shall remain nameless and may or may not be included below. Hehe!)

Who had your favorite look tonight? And did your pick for movie of the year take home Oscar? Leave a comment below, would love to hear from you.

I’d say your best dressed list is right on!  Who do you have for “NOT the best dressed”
     list?

    • thanks lindsey! i try to keep things positive and not post “worst dressed” but let’s just say there were a couple of ladies who had it all wrong. 🙁
