I’ve only had one office job and it was at MTV where everyone wore jeans and t-shirts every single day. Because of this, my corporate wear was non-existent for a long time. Then, I started auditioning for commercials and TV roles and needed to expand my wardrobe. With every audition breakdown comes a wardrobe breakdown. It basically tells you what to wear or “what world to dress in.” Corporate or business is a popular wardrobe request because it includes every professional job under the sun. So, when it came time to shop for this category, I partnered with EXPRESS and thought, “What kind of business professional would I be and what would I wear?”
I imagine that if I were a lawyer, head of a firm or business mogul, I would want to look professional but also fashion forward. I would wear classic pieces like this blazer and cami from Express but then “spice” it up with leopard print heels and bow tie trousers. This is also a great look for when I have business meetings and I love that I can also wear all the pieces separately. Cami, blazer and jeans? YES! Trousers and a tee? YES! Leopard heels and a LBD? YES! So, now I have my corporate wear audition look and a bunch of different outfits to go with it. I love versatile pieces!

Thank you to Express for partnering on this post.
