No matter how often I buy a colorful or printed piece for my wardrobe, I get most excited when I score a great staple. These “not so basic” staples are timeless and always easy to style. Faded black, high-rise skinny jeans from Express are a great alternative to “just black” and this classic trench is perfect for layering over a simple tee or tank. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always be a color/printed lover, but every once in a while, a girl’s got to keep it simple.

What a cute look. You’re right, the trench is always a classis and should be in everyones (male or females) closet. I love that you’re pairing it with pieces that have a more casual & tiny bit of edge. Great pairing. Loving the flat booties and mini bucket bag. You look great.

  • Colorful or printed pieces aren’t necessary when you’re wearing badass boots and standing in front of an equally badass graffiti wall. I love everything about these photos, and I hope you have a wonderful week, Grasie!
