transition to spring

Spring is just around the corner and a great way to transition into the new season is with earth-toned dresses and open-toe sandals. Before I can plunge into spring florals and pastels, I like to ease into it with pieces that tease the new season. This Express military shirt dress and black sandals are the perfect way to accomplish a transitional look. Plus both are on-trend for spring and staple pieces you can wear year after year. Spring is also the time when I like to get back into ice cream! I’m not a year round ice cream eater but instead I reserve the treat for warmer months; it’s more special that way. So, I dropped into Salt & Straw on Abbot Kinney the other day and treated myself to a roasted strawberry & white chocolate ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles; let’s hear it for spring!

Gorgeous! I got a pair of Mephisto shoes from http://www.arthurknight.com similar to these. Not sure how much toe is meant to be showing though? Davina
