MatchaBar is now open in Silverlake and it’s their very first West Coast location! Originally founded in New York, the family-owned business is expanding and definitely feeding into the Matcha Tea craze here in LA. The most notable drink was the ‘Holy Grail’ which is a Matcha Tea Drink with a double shot of espresso, house-made almond and cashew milk and Maca. It’s a green dream in a glass! MatchaBar not only serves matcha-infused drinks and coffee, but also breakfast food and baked goods from Gjusta Bakery. Green is the new black y’all and it’s Grasie approved! (I still love my coffee but this is a great alternative too!)
