a day at coachella
Over the past few years, Coachella has become just as much about parties and fashion, as it is about music (maybe more so).
Over the past few years, Coachella has become just as much about parties and fashion, as it is about music (maybe more so). That’s why me and my blogger buds, Amelia & Taye, had no problem at all heading down for the day on Saturday to hit up some events and take in some desert sun. The result? A most fantastical day! First stop was the Style & Beauty Bungalow hosted by Benefit Cosmetics & BCBGMaxAzria. The location was stunning with an abundant supply of makeup, food & cocktails on hand, not a bad way to start the day.
Amelia had the genius idea of bringing her Polaroid camera; the photos we took with it are some of my favorite!
Next stop was the Flaunt x True Religion brunch at a private house in Palm Springs. It was an intimate affair with the most delicious buffet. We all scored a sick pair of high-waisted shorts from True Religion that I can not wait to wear them (and didn’t).
Ran into lovely blogger Kier Mellour and had a mini photo shoot on the house lawn. #whatbloggersdo
Stop number 3 was a quick one to check out the Hard Rock Hotel Music Lounge. Though there was a real tattoo artist on hand, if you felt like getting inked…Taye, Amelia and I opted for the fake kind. (We did, in fact, have a costume change.)
And our final destination before peace-ing out of Coachella was the Lacoste Live Desert Pool Party. We took this stop to catch some rays and take lots of selfies. We also ran into everyone we know, mostly on the uber-long bathroom line. #coachellaproblems
This beauty was a friend of Taye’s…I just had to take her pic.
And that’s a wrap on Coachella 2013! Quickly in and out and it felt so good. #sexualundertonenotintended
