books on the go
There are so many books I would like to read, but so few moments when I can actually sit down to read them.
If you follow me on social media then you know how insanely busy my schedule can be. You also know that I live in LA and spend 85% (or more) of my day on-the-go and in my car. Because of these facts, I rarely have time to read books. There are so many books I would like to read, but so few moments when I can actually sit down to read them. What I do have a lot of is driving time! Tons of driving time. Enter Audible, the leading provider of digital spoken audio info and entertainment, a.k.a. – my new best friend.
I downloaded Audible after hearing about Oprah’s new book obsession, The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead (it’s her new book club pick!). The Underground Railroad a novel about Cora, a teenage slave on a cotton plantation in Georgia and her adventures as she makes a bid for freedom in the South. I’m almost done with the audiobook and wow! It’s incredible, intense, beautifully narrated and poetic. I’m so excited to finish and start listening to the next book on my list. I’m also excited to announce my partnership with Audible and your chance to sign up for a 30-day trial with a free audiobook of your choice! Just click here to sign up and start listening. It’s a game changer…trust me.
