dublin: part two

    International, TRAVEL • December 11, 2015

Cobblestone streets and colorful buildings gave us so much to see and admire in between meals and drinks. It was our last day of walking around before heading to the Cliffs of Moher and Dromoland Castle, so we really just took it all in.

After getting much needed sleep (jet lag is a bitch!), Damien and I spent day 2 in Dublin doing much of the same as day 1. We walked, ate, drank and walked some more. We visited the popular Grafton Street, which is lined with shops both unique to Ireland and ones you’ll find all over the world. There were a ton of lights and Christmas decorations everywhere, so it felt very festive. We walked along The River Liffey, which separates north and south Dublin and runs right through the center of the city. There I discovered a mini version of the famous Parisian love lock bridge and wished we had our own lock to hang. Cobblestone streets and colorful buildings of the Temple Bar area, gave us so much to see and admire in between meals and drinks. It was our last day of walking around before heading to the Cliffs of Moher and Dromoland Castle, so we really just took it all in. More on the cliffs and the castle tomorrow plus my Ireland “eat, drink, see” roundup!
