I present to you a destination guide to Las Vegas with some incredible places to eat, drink, see & play!
Damien and I have both been to Las Vegas about 5 or 6 times, but we’ve never done Vegas the way we did this past weekend. The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority were nice enough to host us for two nights and filled our schedules with unique experiences and unforgettable memories. Here’s our guide on where to stay, what to do & where to eat:

    • Delano Las Vegas // STAY

An elegant, boutique hotel that connects to Mandalay Bay & The Four Seasons. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a chic room and a quieter lobby (there’s no casino to walk through). The Delano pool is beautiful and offers cabanas for rent and a relaxing place to catch some rays.

    • Yoga in the Sky at The High Roller at The LINQ // SEE + PLAY

Even if you don’t “do yoga” this experience is must do! Yoga in the Sky offers a one-hour yoga session on The High Roller, which is an observation wheel that goes 55o feet into the air and gives you a 360-degree view of Las Vegas. You wear a headset that allows you to hear the instructor and music for a more individualized, focus session. Our instructor Dray Gardner is a yoga guru and amazing. Damien and I left feeling zen and inspired.

    • Cleo at SLS Las Vegas // EAT + DRINK

Cleo boasts Mediterranean cuisine at it’s best with delicious, tapas-style bites from Chef Danny Elmaleh. The restaurant is beautiful and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Our favorite eats: Dips with Laffa, Wagyu Kabob, Mushroom Flatbread, Brussel Sprouts and the Panna Cotta for dessert.

    • The Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan // SEE + DRINK

A multi-level, visually stunning bar inside a massive chandelier with delicious cocktails to match. Go to level 1.5 and try the Verbena cocktail! It’s not on the menu and only served on this level because it’s a “secret cocktail” of sorts. It’s a lemon verbena and ginger infused margarita garnished with a Sichuan flower. Your server or bartender will first instruct you to chew the flower and let it circulate around your mouth, then swallow. The “buzz button” as it’s called, will speed up your salivary glands and make your mouth tingle and feel all sorts of weird. Once that happens you drink your cocktail and it tastes AMAZING! Like a party in your mouth. The experience is trippy and some may be surprised by the feeling, but trust me, after the initial “WTF?!” it’s so so fun (and tasty)! Once the effects wore off, we order another round of flowers to finish our drinks.

    • Eggslut at The Cosmopolitan // EAT

The hype is real! There’s an Eggslut in DTLA but Damien and I have never ventured down there, so we were so excited to try it in Vegas. The line is long but moves quickly and is totally worth it! I had the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and Damien had the sausage version, both are so delicious and perfect.

    • Topgolf Las Vegas // SEE + EAT + DRINK + PLAY

I nor Damien have ever played golf before visiting Topgolf, a four-level entertainment venue with interactive golf games, but we still had the best time ever! Damien actually ended up being really good, which I totally resented. We spent two hours hitting golf balls and eventually I got good (or barely decent) at it. In addition to golf games, Topgolf has two pools, cocktail bars, a private suite and yummy bar food. It’s a blast!

    • Sake Rok at The Park // SEE + EAT + DRINK

There are restaurants with delicious food and restaurants that are themed and fun, but rarely do you find a restaurant that has both! Sake Rok serves incredible Japanese cuisine and has a dancing staff! A. DANCING. STAFF! Every hour or so, they break into dance routines to Top 40 hits that are well choreographed and just down right fun. I couldn’t catch a not blurry photo of the crew in action but man, if you follow me on Snapchat, you saw the fun. A perfect place to celebrate birthdays, wedding parties or just have a really fun date night. Our favorite eats: Edamame ROK, the Crispy Sashimi Tacos and the Crispy Rice.

    • The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage // SEE

Ok, granted with hit tunes by The Beatles and performers from Cirque du Soleil, it would be pretty hard not to expect an amazing show. But somehow The Beatles LOVE still managed to greatly surpass our expectations. The costumes, the talent, the tricks, the gymnastics, the movement, the rollerblading, the aerial dancing, the music!!! It’s a perfect and overwhelming beautiful show. You should definitely see it.

    • Well + Being Spa at Red Rock Casino Resort // SEE

What better way to close out a weekend getaway than with a couples massage? Damien and I took a little drive off the Strip to Summerlin for a visit to Red Rock. There, we were treated to massages with hair oil treatments and access to the spa’s jacuzzi and saunas. Our massage therapists were incredible and we left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

    • El Dorado Cantina // EAT + DRINK

The last stop on our trip was El Dorado Cantina. Open 24 hours, this authentic Mexican restaurant serves up hearty portions of all your favorite dishes and over 100 different tequilas. We we’re there for lunch but it’s definitely the perfect place to hit up after a night of dancing or seeing a show.

And there you have it…my destination guide to Las Vegas!

Thank you to The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and R&R Partners for showing us a great time!
