Oh man you guys, this is exciting. Last week I attended a Forever 21 LA Blogger Event where I was chosen as one of Forever 21’s Blogger Crushes. What?! When I received the email that I was someone on their radar, I kind of freaked out. Having a blog takes lots of work, time and dedication and sometimes I ask myself “Umm, why am I doing this?” This is why. Because hard work pays off and cool sh*t happens. And I don’t just mean this event. Last week, I also signed a contract to do videos for a new fashion channel launching on YouTube next month! (More about that in a future post…it’s going to be awesome) Things are buzzing and I am over the moon. THANK YOU for being a loyal reader…because of YOU cool things are happening. Okay, let’s talk more about the night, shall we? 
The event took place at their gorgeous store on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. They just opened the “For Love 21” section of the store. It’s a must see. The accessories are killer. 
Each Blogger Crush was given 3 signs, with their blog name on it to put up anywhere they like, in the entire store. These signs will be up for the next 2 weeks! How cool it that?! If your in Santa Monica, check them out!
Two of my favorite bloggers and real-life besties were on hand and also F21 Blogger Crushes (as they should be!) Kate of Mr.Kate and Folake of Style Pantry. 
Kate and I were wearing matching F21 animal print booties…I swear we didn’t plan that. 
DIY was a big part of the event, with a large table of accessories ready to be customized with neon nail polish. I went for the collar necklace below and added a touch of yellow to make it my own. 
My girl and kick-ass blog photographer Sylvia, joined me for the event and added her flair to these chain link earrings. Can’t wait to see them on her. 
In additions to the DIY table, there were manicurists doing some serious nail art, cake pops, refreshments and of course…shopping! 
I also had a contest with F21…the winner got an invite to this event plus 1 and a $50 gift card. Below is the winner Meghan and her friend Ashley. They were too cute. So cool to meet readers in person!
Overall, it was a fantastic event that I was so happy to be a part of (like you couldn’t tell from the pics!). I love me some Forever 21 and it’s pretty awesome to know that they like me too. Woot!
